Re: Mulligans

I have to admit, I really wish it was possible here to self-delete threads you wish you'd never started or moderate after the fact comments you wish for various reasons you hadn't posted. I am probably spoiled by the fact that most of the sites I have been very active on featured this capability.

Re: Mulligans

I am not sure if it has happened here to me yet - but yes I have been using various forums for a few years and often regret posts I make

Hard for me to comment about threads I start because I rarely start them.

I think post regret is rare for me now for at least 2 reasons

1) It has happened so many times in the past that I am learning what kind of things I tend to regret typing

2) Due to slow processing speed, awkward writing skills, and a tendency to go off on tangents it takes me very long to write a post. This long period of time makes it more likely I will get a moment of insight where I see I will probably regret the whole post later.

I would guess about 50% of the posts I start writing end up not being posted

Re: Mulligans

I'm sure I write things that I regret. Most of the time they are horrendous spelling areas. Anything else I'm like "eh, whats done is done."

Re: Mulligans

I have a tendency to share too much online. I post things in an outburst of emotion and then often later regret it because either I feel embarassed or ashamed or because I worry that if anyone who knows me does a random google search and my post happens to pop up they will recognize me. Oh well...
