If your fibromyalgia prevents you from going to the store yourself, I bet you could order batteries from walmart.com or amazon -- combine it with some other shopping you need anyway so you don't pay shipping...

We live in a pretty small suburb. Only half a mile one way to Kroger, only half a mile the other way to Dollar General. Even in this heat, I can usually manage a quick trip. I just didn't want to drag Nove out since she's sick, so was waiting for her sister to get up. Guess what? Big sister's sick too. Summer cold virus, hoo boy! Sounds like a good idea not to wait any longer on the batteries for the alarm. So I guess I'd better get this shopping trip over with, eh?

The PA did a throat culture, just in case. We have a big history of strep. Negative. I couldn't think what to have with the BLTs until I saw the apples on the counter. They've been there over a week, clearly the girls aren't going to just eat them. So I bought a cucumber and some raisens and will make a salad with the apples. Very light dressing, just a squeeze of lemon and a drizzle of honey, plus cinnamon. And I remembered to get the batteries for the alarm.  Now it's up to her mom to remember to set it after she lets the dogs out last thing before bed.

Staple a reminder on her bedroom door...
And give all the sick kiddos out there hugs... I have been lucky... so far mine haven't got it... and they better not cause they are all supposed to be leaving next week and i'm only supposed to have the baby for 6 days!!!! Enjoy your Dinner (although i think you probably already have... the joys of living on the west coast is that everybody else does everything before i do!!)

hey Lunacie ....my mom used to slice apples up fairly thin and then put peanut butter between 2 of them ....yummy !
