Meaning?
What does it mean to "see the world upside down and backwards"? Supposedly, Van Gogh "saw the world this way too.

I don't know what it means but several people have said this to me. I think it means, "why you are very intelligent and have amazing perception"

I'm not sure exactly how other people are using the phrase, but to me the phrase indicates someone who sees the world differently than most people. Someone with a different point of view or perception of things, someone who looks at situations and experiences from many different angles and gets a different view. Usually someone who is very smart and perceptive.
