72 mg concerta = working?

So I took 72 mg concerta for the first time today and I feel great. I feel very motivated and my focus is a lot better. However, I also feel more energized (almost shakey) and slighty tipsy/light headed (though I wouldn't say euphoric, just motivated and happy it seems to be working). Hope that makes sense.


I've heard if you get a high (though I would say my feeling is more tipsy) feeling it means you don't have ADHD. Is this true? Does this mean I don't really have ADHD? I never felt anything on 54 mg and lower but now boom I feel it.

I feel very wired..like I'm on ecstasy or something. this is my first day on 72 mg too. Like you, 54mg felt like I was taking a sugar pill..

so today instead of taking 72mg all at the same time, i decided to take 54mg in the morning and 18mg 5 hours later. I like it a LOT better. A lot less anxiety and I dont feel high at all. Focus is pretty good too.

yeah, some days it can work like that (rarely - first day only - like a couple of days out of the whole year)

No and you're bound to feel shakey on a dose increase it'll settle eventually hun if you start to verge on feeling unwell though drop your psych a line he might want to make a smaller increas using ir's until you can stabilise at 72mg, once the concerta is in it keeps going and going whereas the irs are over and done in 1-4 hours

Acey----you might get some trouble sleeping tonight taking concerta later than am for me = no sleep as its extended release it'll be going for 12 hours
