Worked 1 time??

So, i started taking dexedrine 5mg to 10mg depending on the dose i need 4 days ago. The first day i took it i felt very good , able to focus , calm minded (Wow) , able to talk without searching my words...

Second day, i didn't feel anything but i felt very sleepy.

Third day, i tryed 10mg and i wasn't able to focus at all and felt very sleepy again.

And now goes the fourth day and i took 2x 5 mg (one at 8 am and one at 4 pm) I felt very sleepy all day and even aggresive.

Is this normal? I'm really pist because i though i had the good medicine for once but now i just feel like i'm gona have to start over again...

You are on a minimal dose friend, try 10mg IR evaluate, next day try 15mg, then try 20mg. If 20mg doesn't do anything at all, try adderall in a similar fashion, then focalin. Before giving up on dexedrine try to add a little caffeine to it, IMO it eliminates the fatigue and lets you fairly judge the med early on. The fatigue will fade with time but caffeine will patch it for now.

Thanks i will try that out, i'm not really used to caffeine anyway i just don't feel more awake when i take some but i will try with the meds and see what happens. I will try 10mg tomorow and 15 then 20.

I'm having the same problem but with Dexedrine ER (CorePharma) 10mg bid. I take one in the morning and get really sleepy and tired, I need a nap! I've tried taking a third capsule in the afternoon but it got even worse - lethargic and tired. I'm not sure why this is happening...and yeah drinking Diet Coke doesn't help.

It did work the first time I took it, then had a break for 4 days and then it worked again but not when taken every day.

This is very weird. I might try taking a 2-3 day break and see what happens...

It also gives me headache around 9 pm...

Maybe a tolerance thing for you then? Try 400mg chelated magnesium and 30mg chelated zinc before bed each night. I find taking B-vitamins with dexedrine completely eliminate the fatigue and synergizes well.

I take 200 mg of Mg l-threonate and 400mg of Mg Citrate every day, plus 30mg Zinc before bed plus PQQ, Maca root, B-complex etc. You're right @FocusPocus10 I think I've developed a tolerance. Gonna take a break starting tomorrow for at least 2 weeks. Will assess from there...

Dosing is key. Your initial experience will be deceptive. You'll likely need more post-tolerance. A dose that is too small just makes me spacey and irritated.

Buy delsym and take 10ml before bed 3 nights in a row (ideally while on a med holiday). that should reset a good bit of your tolerance, so you can resume meds and reevaluate the situation.

I know this is often mentioned, I just dont think its healthy to take cough meds when you arent sick but I guess I could be wrong.
