How many tabs do you usually have open on your internet browser?

I recently purchased a brand spankin new computer. Why you ask?

To support my need for 16GB of RAM

I have crashed two lately. The tech guy I took them to said it was information overload, they couldn't handle it.
(they were on the cheaper end & no doubt there might have been other factors)

Between browser tabs, my school stuff (currently 8 MSOffice tabs open), and pictures I need something strong. lmao

Would it be appropriate to say that some of our computers can't even keep up with us?

I just got a new compiuter yesterday with 6 gigs of RAM .....which I am beginning to think might not have been enough ! .....

usually I have 10 to 12 open cause more than that and everything started going too slow, and wonky .....left to my own devices......probably at least 40 ......10 to 50 on ebay alone ! ...of course I make part of my living on ebay ,......

I have 11 open right now. I would have more open but I took meds today.

Often times I end up with enough open that the computer starts paging to disk (and therefore slowing down) and that's what convinces me to start cleaning up.

I have been trying to cut back. I used to have 3-4 browsers for different topics, each with 7-10 tabs.

I try to keep it to one browser 4-5 tabs.

I get frustrated at my procrastination, close all my windows, open the ONE window that I sat down at the computer for in the first place (and hadn't opened yet), and then get bored while it's loading (or after 5 minutes of work) and open up a whole lot of junk again.

This process keeps the number of windows I have open at any time below 10. If only all the junk on my desk had little red circles that I could tap to make it go away!

Usually I have around 20 tabs open at a time. I bounce from topic to topic lol. But then when I get down to tab 1 I usually find something else to do and them 20 more tabs and so the cycle repeats.
