Can hyperactive ADHD children stay quiet and passive in social situations if they have co-morbid social anxiety? I'm really curious about this.

Fidget toys?
The terror of being made an example of by the teacher worked for me *sigh*

Or depression if split with father, what happened to me. Need lots and lots of communication over and over again if needs be. Sometimes they, children prefer to watch the ongoings going on,which is tutorial, but not always a good sign. Dunno.

From what I've read it's why many girls get to mid teens before diagnosis, and as we are finding out with our daughter; expresses as excessive talking.

Yes they can.
There's even empirical support for sitting perfectly still and behaving in a doctor's office, or psych. clinic. Hope that helps. tc mctavish23 (Robert) |
