Danger alert!

Fellow forum members and guests,

I want to alert you to the dangers of this substance. It is a simple fact that every known case of ADHD as well as many other serious mental disorders have a history of exposure to Dihydrogen monoxide. This is being hidden from the American public in an obscene conspiracy to gain control the minds of the population. It is about power and money.

Since it is often used in the manufacture of medications and its addictive qualities can keep patients using medication for years, big pharma with support from several agencies of the government hide the facts of the potential serious side effects of its use.

It has been shown that in many cases, discontinuing it for more than a day can result in intense cravings and if withdrawal continues, even death can occur. Those addicted will do almost anything for another dose and have even been known to kill to gain access to it.

As well as its effects on the minds of those using it, here are some other consequences of allowing this to be available to the public:

Dihydrogen monoxide:

* is called "hydroxyl acid", the substance is the major component of acid rain.
* contributes to the "greenhouse effect".
* may cause severe burns.
* contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.
* accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.
* may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes.
* has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients.
* even small amounts ingested into the lungs can result in death.
* Associated with dangerous reduction in electrolytes in the body when used to excess.
* Strong correlation between long term use with physical deterioration, memory loss and eventually death.
* So habit forming that once addicted, withdrawal can result in death within a few days.

Despite the danger, dihydrogen monoxide is often used:

* as an industrial solvent and coolant.
* in nuclear power plants.
* in the production of styrofoam.
* as a fire retardant.
* in many forms of cruel animal research.
* in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical.
* as an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products.
* can even be found in children's school lunches.
* found in almost every home in one form or another.

Even with all of this, the government with support of big pharma refuses to take action to remove access to this extremely dangerous chemical.

Members of the forum, take up arms, write your congressperson, do anything to get this awful chemical banned.

Yours in solidarity to the cause,

Dizfriz

Life is too serious to take seriously.

Thanks Dizfriz for alerting the forum to this dangerous chemical substance -- that is readily accessible to our children! For more information about this menace go to this helpful site:

That why I self-medicate with sulfur hexaflouride. It goes down easy, and no need to worry about DHMO. It floats my boat.

Re: Danger alert!

Monoxide is a very radical and dangerous substance in most forms... not to be taken lightly. Just look at what it has done to Mars!!! We could be next!

.. and don't even get me started on the dangers of sodium chloride!

Re: Danger alert!

Overdose can cause, and has caused death!!!

Not all sources of Dihydrogen Monoxide are free from contaminates.

In fact, the government lobbies to add other chemicals like floride to our supply of Dihydrogen Monoxide.

Who will protect us?

Re: Danger alert!

Actually Dizfriz,

There are three forms of dihydrogen monoxide:

diprotium monoxide, dideuterium monoxide and ditritium monoxide.

The second one is, as you say, an extremely dangerous compound that was the focus of a top-secret, covert US government operation in the 1940s. Evil foreign powers struggled desperately to get their hands on it!!

Ultimately, it was used to create weapons of mass destruction that killed hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and razed entire cities in Japan in 1945.

Its chemical forumula was h2o, and its name was water ("heavy" water)

I seriously hope that this is just how you show your sense of humor. If not, you seriously over-think things.

If someone says hydrogen, or in this case dihydrogen, without specifying deuterium... then they aren't talking about the variants that you mention.

I don't know. I suppose that you raise a good point. But I do hope that it was stated with humorous intent.

Re: Danger alert!

I wonder if it is a mechanism of self-projection when JCG says that ADHD is AsPD.

And I'm taking no flack from staff for the above statement, since he has pretty much diagnosed the entire forum with AsPD.

Re: Danger alert!

I do believe that John made the post with humorous intent. The fact that every! word! is literally true makes it that more enjoyable:

Quote:

(John you didn't cut and paste copy from the History channel site, did you? )

I enjoy that John added something new to the old 'dhmo' schtick. Of course I am a sucker for the historical aside.

If this was Reddit I would give John's post an 'upvote'.
