Did not mean to offend. I'm ignorant about the series. I am a FF gamer (square). I missed a lot going on with other titles. I just happened to pick up FO3 one day, because it looked exciting. Once I started playing, I was hooked. I took a chance with Skyrim as well. Too fun. Now I am interested in the earlier titles. I will try to look into Oblivion next. I can't have too many games going at once. My better half is a little less than enthused about my bethesda addiction. I've taken a week break, but tonight I will get in a couple of hours while the wife and little one are sleeping.

You should get it. I can't really find anything bad to say about it, except it eats up a lot of your time, just like FO3.

Ack, what I was trying to say yesterday was that the Elder Scrolls have lots of history to them. If you loved FO3 and you love Skyrim, at the very least Oblivion and Morrowind might be fun (you might need to get mods to update the Morrowind graphics, though, as they are very dated).

Re: ADD Gamers Unite!

I love my RPG games. Such as Final Fantasy. I've never been so good at multiplayer gaming. I like to play games at my own pace and feel I can do this with RPG games as I never feel like i'm being rushed to do anything. You simply progress onto the next part of the story when you're ready to do so. I completed 7,8,9 all over again last month, but this time I did it using an emulator on my PC, since I no longer own a playstation console.

I stink at multi-player games too (except farcry 2). I can never really tell what other players have in mind. I sometimes end up killing teammates by accident. I was banned once...

I prefer single player games, but I also like racing games against other players.

Thank you. You help explain a lot. While playing Skyrim, lots of references of oblivion crisis and other phrases kept popping up and I really couldn't understand what they were talking about. After reading your post ,it started clicking and I could get the gist of the conversations in the game. I still don't fully get everything, but I think it will start to come together more and more.

Just like FO3, I just have to keep remembering to save after big battles.

Crash Team Racing!

I love all the racing games with a twist. I don't like regular racing games. I like the ones that kinda require dirty cheating in order to win!

Here's where you can get the rest of the Fallout games. They have been converted by Good Old Games to make them compatible with newer Windows systems (they work fine on my Win 7, 64-bit system) and they are dirt cheap, drm free, and there's additional things added to it like a pdf of manuals, soundtrack and "The Fallout Bible" which explains all about the story and setting: Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics - my least favorite (its an RTS or Real-Time Strategy genre like Starcraft and Warcraft 1-3)... there are other Fallout titles but I think that they are for the Playstation 2. But don't quote me on that.

There's so many other systems there too. I just got to try out Wing Commander. Anyway, here's the complete list of ported games from GOG.com. They keep adding stuff all the time and I like the prices too.

Re: ADD Gamers Unite!

Resurrecting and old thread... because I didn't want to create a new one...

I'm predominantly a tabletop or PC gamer.

I've been playing a lot of SWTOR lately... and now that I'm off of school for 2 weeks, I'll play more. lol

Anyway... just wanted to toss my hat in the gaming ring.

Re: ADD Gamers Unite!

I've been mostly playing Mass Effect 3. Kind of screwing around with TES III, IV, and V, however.

I really need to get back into Skyrim (TES V), especially since I spent money I couldn't afford on Dawnguard. Yay impulsiveness.

I've posted in chat-chat occasionally, just not as frequently as elsewhere. I remember when you thought I'd been posting less in chit-chat, but it was that I was posting less overall. The ratio of posts in chit-chat compared to the rest of the forum was roughly the same as it had been before.

Re: ADD Gamers Unite!

I'm a fan of PC gaming. City of Heroes is one of my favorites and the only one I'm currently playing. I played WoW for a while, but it was too tedious for me.

I have a PS3 that came with my TV, so far I've only really played Batman Arkham Asylum.

The wii.....well, I've got smash bros, and others but haven't played it in a long time.
