Post Your Positive ADDI Moment of the Day!

This is a thread in which you can speak your positive ADDI moment of the day medicated/non medicated. I don't want to see any negativity here guys! This is that feel good Euphoric thread !
I will try to keep as active as possible on this thread but I can't promise I can post one every day. I do have ADDI, like give me a break guys.

8/11/12
ADDI Moment of the Day: (Medicated) I expressed to the one I truly live, my girlfriend, my innermost feelings about her ~Been medicated since like mid July, I was never this uplifted, happy, and able to express my true emotions. There were times where she was not even sure if I loved her anymore. She could not tell. My emotions just were not expressed well. I am now a better understood person and my life is great.~

Wow. That's big. Tough act to follow.

I swore I was going to finish all the level 3 problems in the rock gym. Finished today just before closing time. Texted a friend and told him I leveled up to rank 4. Sometimes it's the little victories in life.

Didn't really have anything positive the past few days
8/13/2012
I started work thirty minutes earlier than usual, was well rested, the day went by fast, and didn't get angry at any co workers today at the construction site....

Re: Post Your Positive ADDI Moment of the Day!

Can I have a positive moment of the year post? In Sari Soldens book she has this whole" Dont try harder but try smarter" thing going on which sounds like bland self help meaningless sound bite crap until you try it and realise how amazingly right she was. That works!!!! That will really honest to god change your life.

My second positive moment came from searching for people like me. You read so much that you can relate to you could choose 1 million quotes but suddenly there it is. The short succinct quote that in some way is devastating in its simlpicity but that makes the world freeze in less than 30 words.

This sentence is to me what Elvis was to rock nusic=no one has bettered it yet.

" They are the girls who could tell you all about the planets, the moon and the stars but they could not tell you where they left their coat or even if they had a coat with them,,"

Its the world championship of quotes and imo no one has improved on it yet -not even Barclay/. Even big bad stubborn Add girls like me genuflect in the face of that quote. That quote is the very essence of us and all words after that are empty/poor imitations and curiously superflous/

I want it on my gravestone. Like all amazing quotes there is not a word of it wasted.

I know thats not exactly what you had in mind when you asked the question and I might come back with a more everyday example but if it is THAT big of a deal in some of our books(which apparently it is) then it should be allowed in.

Always great to hear someone with very positive, intuitive, and philosophical thoughts. Try smarter...hmm. I am honestly living to that whole "try smarter" now. I am constantly changing my every day lifestyle in order to to try smarter.
Explained:
I enjoy maximizing the benefits of my food intake per day by eating optimal performing foods. (When college starts I am going to...have 2 fish oil, multivitamin, adderall, handful of blueberries and oatmeal for breakfast. Lunch will consist of meat and protein for focus. Dinner will be more relaxed, but afterwards I will chew peppermint gum for focus, put on my silence suppressor headphones to drown out anything annoying to get me off track/off of my hyper-focus/regular focus. Maybe if it is a great deal of studying then I will take 1-2 more fish oil because they do not really give you energy and they jump start your memory, aid people with add, and provide improvements for learning information).
You saying this kind of re informs me of my goals.
The quote you have provided is not as simplistic as one may think. It provides many possible open endings to explanations/deep meanings in which I cannot really put forth my foot in the water to try to grasp. I will try lets see how it goes...
So there are girls that can act so meaningful, be so informative about their feelings, but then the next minute you know it they are gone? Just a completely random guess, and I am tired so do not hate me for making a completely uneducated guess.....lol

Positive ADDI Moment of the Day
8/17/12 (I am a few hours late, but I was busy all day and I could not post).
I was told today at work that there was no more work to do, no more cleaning up, no more helping with bricklayers. The job site is pretty much wrapping up, the "SUPERINTENDENT" was impressed with my integrity, commitment, and everything. He did not think he was going to receive as good of a worker as he did. All of the workers were very polite when I was leaving. This happened to be a day where the Foreman was giving out Donuts. Two donuts were a nice parting gift. One chocolate iced cream filled donut, and one crunchy coconut donut (Which is now my most favorite donut ever). I have been trying many new positive things on medication and finding out that I enjoy a lot of different things. The other item I tried recently (candy) which were really good were raisinets. They are absolutely an amazing combination....chocolate and raisins....omg in love! Haha but anyway I shook everyone's hands and they told me good luck in college, and that I was lucky to get out of this trade and get back to school. They all stated this at least once "you do not want to be stuck here for the rest of your life." Sad how people work so hard and get paid so little
Right before this job 7 weeks ago is when I started taking the medication for ADD, adderall. If it were not for the help of this I do not think I would have received the same compliments. I might have been a miserable failure, someone who made mistakes all of the time. I might have been really injured due to poor decisions making. I remembered everything they taught me unlike how my mentality was before medication. Before medication I had to be told time and time again how to properly perform something because I lacked the ability to have decent one on one explanations, and my memory was not as good. Adderall has helped me retrieve memories better in my jumbled brain, and pool them out in an interesting setting, or a serious setting. I had a really great summer and it all went by fast. I was supposed to be done next Friday, but I got out today. I guess everything happens for a reason right? Maybe someone was telling me I need to study and focus on school a week prior to arriving. Thanks everyone who listened to my basically positive moment of the summer!

I have finished my first "school" book ever front to back. Not only did I engulf the information, but I enjoyed reading, learning new words, and actually got lost into the story of some Native Americans. Very interesting to be able to picture stories the way I do now. Thanks adderall. Lol

I described to my boss all the different ways I encourage his son to expand his expressive language today (with examples).

He was very impressed and appreciative... I felt good.

SEE, my hyper-verbal skills match well in my job.

Re: Post Your Positive ADDI Moment of the Day!

I talked to a member of the Labor party today. Said words, listened, said words back and made appropriate eye contact.

I did about 40 minutes of weight lifting.

I wrote a blog without medication, and it wasn't a rush job. It's in my sig.

I cleared my room up a bit and vacuumed. Though because people were not awake after I finished clearing my room I didn't vacuum until hours later. And I got into that procrastinating mood.

I got my grocery shopping done early.
I didn't buy anything impulsively, cept maybe a Kinder Surprise. And box of Pizza Shapes.

However, I forgot to shower.

I showered first thing in the morning today. Although the hair might require a bit more shampooing. I won't tell you how long I went without washing it.

Something I kept procrastinating about was brushing the cat. She is a long haired Maine Coon and she requires at least a brushing once a week, to keep away mats and so she doesn't look like a scrubby mop. But once I get her sitting in one spot she is a nightmare to brush. Mewing, growling and biting and using every attempt to get away.
But I did it today.
Then she jumped off the table and rolled into the dirt.

I am not sure about cats...but my dog loves being brushed, I guess he finds it relaxing.
I am not sure why your cat is not the same way, maybe a more comforting brush would help?? loool

I am attempting to catch up on years of math skill that I allowed to just go in one ear and out the other. I am understanding and visualizing math better and am really hoping studying before college starts will give me the ability to perform really well in my first semester of pre-calculus which I already took in high school. My math placement test score was not that great...I had yell at my advisor just to get pre-calc. But I am happy with pre-calc now. I am going to try to read algebra 2 for dummies and pre-calc for dummies when I get the chance...right now I am reading such beneficial math tips I wish I had known years ago.

Cats.

Yesterday I returned the last two overdue books, and paid my overdue medical insurance fees for the time when I was unemployed in spring.

Today I didn't do anything that felt like an achievement, but it's Sunday. Sundays should be like that.

(Actually it's early on Monday already but I don't care about that.)
