LOL, I've busted the window out of my car with a hammer, because I got on stuck mode while putting on my shoes, started to run late, then was trying to load the trunk of my car for a move, dropped the keys in the trunk, shut it as I saw them and realized I didn't have time to call a lock smith, pick up a hammer, then called insurance agent, darn gravel just popped off the road and busted it, tee hee hee.

When your math teacher wakes you from sleeping tells you to answer the problem on the board because you are suppose to be studying with everyone else, you give the answer in two seconds and everybodie's jaws drop including the math teacher, then the math teacher picks his calculator up, works the problem and tells you to go back to sleep.

At work, I was more focused on a coworker telling me a story than where I was walking. Shoulder, meet partition wall that's been there since we opened.

I stopped at the convenience store on my way home from work to buy cigarettes and ice cream (DH almost always calls and asks me to pick up ice cream!) and I ran my card and tried to leave without putting in my pin number! Oops. At least they know me, and don't hold it against me.

You buy a fountain drink so many times at the same store that you start walking out the door to busy focusing on that first sip and didn't pay, get to work with the drink, think about it have to drive back to the store, the cashier says "Your still here?", and you have to swollow your pride and say "No I've left and come back.", and this is the second time in a week it has happened.

Try to do a better job at helping with dinners and offer to pick up groceries and make something for dinner.

Enter grocery store. Wander around for 20 minutes with several items you do not need. End up buying random meat and hoping you can somehow make it a meal when you get home.

A lot of the times I have to look at a person to make sure I focus and I catch everything. Dont try to have a conversation with me when I'm really into something

I get upset when people do this to me, I'll cut them off tell them specifically what I want to know and keep on truckin.

My mom and daughter do the second part to me, I just look at them like they are dumb, wait a second "Are you finished?" don't let it be a really good book that I have decided is more important than sleep or food, I'll lose it.

When I want people to answer something quick I just say "Ok, two sentences: -question- ?"

Usually does the trick.

Buying a book about ADHD, not actually getting around to reading it, and when you decide that you don't want it and you need to bring it back to the book store, you realize you've lost the receipt.
