Night terrors....

During my *Adderal* breaks the first full day without it I always have a glorious long rest........ But Always the second, third, possibly a fourth (if i dont have much too do) I always get Night terrors....

Q: Is this common for anyone?

I use too be scared of them a few years back.... but now I am so use to them I some what enjoy them now...

Also when the Night terrors happen, It seems like my brain is shaking and glowing or something....

And when i wake up i feel for a short time i some what state of Enlightenment.... or in better words a short rush... untill 20 minutes pass by and im all tired again lol.....

I would love to hear if anybody experiences similar situation... Or if im just crazy lol......

Re: Night terrors....

I get night terrors sometimes. It happens more frequently around the beginning of the year. For me, its more of a sleep paralysis my ears make a shark ringing sound and I feel like my head is being shoved down into my pillow, like I'm being suffocated or something, except I can breath just fine, there's always some demon thing screaming at me like it's trying to kill me or rip me out of my body.

I wake up and my chest feels like it's on fire sometimes (the skin, not my heart) and my heart is going to fly out of my chest. Sometimes I fall back asleep after the adrenaline rush, other times, I just wake up.

I have no clue what's up, but they're always either around 9:00am-10:00am in the morning (which is probably why I'm such an early riser), or around 2:00am-3:00am at night.

EDIT: I just reread that. Uhm.. Yeah, it has nothing to do with adderall.

They are so interesting arnt they lol..... Before my medication i got them all the time... Few years later im on adderall and i only get them when i take my breaks... This may sound a bit crazy but i think when i get them since i have learned to not fight out of it and wake up, I just hold on through it and see what happens next

But the crazy part is i honestly feel that when i hold through them and not fight that there is chemicals going wild in my brain and i seriously no joke think my brain shakes like crazy and glows...... almost like a third eye awakening.......

Maybe it's a dream i have but it feels so real... its mandatory i get them during the worst of my break which is like day 2 and 3 without a pill during my deepest long recovery sleeps lol.... Yeah crazy as ****!!

And im not a hippy/druggy LMAO!!! just so you know

Re: Night terrors....

Take a slow acting benzodiazepine just before you sleep.

0.25 - 0.5 mg Klonopin should do the trick.

Re: Night terrors....

Here is something interesting in regards to night terrors/sleep paralysis. On a more Spiritual note check it out! ^^

Astral catalepsy

is a form of astral travel and many people experience it especially when they are starting to develop their psychic skills. A less accurate description would be sleep paralysis. All During sleeping hours our spirit body goes off on a little wander exploring the universe and the other side. These little astral trips are a nourishing and enriching experience for the spirit and superb for the overall health of the conscious mind. However, on the rare occasions when the conscious mind ‘catches’ the spirit leaving or re-entering the body, it panics, in the semi-conscious belief that if the spirit is half in and half out of the body it must be dying.
So if you have ever had one of these experiences you now know it’s nothing to be afraid of. It is simply your spirit-self exploring and being caught by the conscious-self on its return.
Happy sleeping and astral travelling!

Just something a little different about the subject to pay some mind too ^^
