Feeling better before getting sick.

Caught some kind of flu like thing this week.
I could tell it was coming on as I had about
three good days before it hit. This seems to be
a common thing with me. On the rare occasions
I do get sick, I'll have a few days where my brain
is a lot clearer, I have more energy and I generally
feel more with it before I actually get sick. Is this a
common occurence or is it indicative of something.

Maybe it's calming the hyperactivity. People can have the best conversations with me when I'm depressed.

I'm much more inattentive than hyperactive, and am
Usually unable to focus effectively. I usually live in the
fog, my brain does not prioritize incoming information well.
Everything is at the same level of importance. Sucks.
It's not like I'm all better before I get sick, but it is much
better than usual. I imagine my immune system is kicking
in to fight off the sickness, but why would this improve my
brain function?
