Brain is like a hurricane
Not sure if I should even be attempting to write out my thoughts today (so scattered) Hard to define but i'll try. I am new to this forum, but so cool to find so many others. Running on a severe lack of rest, children to care for so taking natural energy supliments. At least I feel somewhat awake and able. But my brain and body can't decide whether to curl up in a ball, or make itself busy to forget. Got a race car brain holding 400 horsepower, with only front wheel bicycle brakes. I am bound to crash!! Hate days like this, never mind the fact that its been 2 days now feeling this way. And they say ADD doesn't exist. PFFFT, what a bunch of ignorant retards they that say that are. I know it's real because it effects me every day I breathe. Take Clonazepam daily for it, and can't even tell you if it works???
Don't have a mental health worker, and when i did i got nowhere realy other than being a test rat for a whole host of med. trials that did not perform. Thanx for the air time y'all Any advise i might not have heard yet would be refreshing. For me, or my 13 yr old son (who also suffers with ADHD) Peace out forum people. |

Re: Brain is like a hurricane
Well, personally, I can't tell if my meds are working or not either some days.
The only difference is at the end of the day I'm not mentally exhausted and spacing out, and when I look back at what I did, I notice I got a pretty good amount of work done and I only took one 15 minute facebook break. Unfortunately I can't tell when they wear off either so, I thought they were still working at night and I accidentally scraped the car along the wall of the parking garage when I grabbed a parking spot. Anyway, when I'm not taking meds I find a hot bath soothes me and calms my mind down. Also have you tried different meds? Maybe Clonazepam isn't for you or you need a higher dose. If you were on it when writing that post, I think it's safe to say they're not working. ![]() |
