New here and looking for answers.

Ok. So I just found out that I have ADHD about 8 weeks ago. That's whats wrong with me! Its all perfectly clear now. Maybe this is why I can't seem to finish a load of laundry, or get the motivation to run the vacuum cleaner. I can cook dinner for my family, but get the dishes cleaned? Nah...leave them until tomorrow. I'll get to them. Whatever... Anyone else with these feelings?

I also have a son who is ADHD, and he is requiring alot of my help with his school work. I swear, that's where all my efforts go. I just sit at home and wait for him to get home from school so my night can begin.

Anyway...glad to have found you all, and I hope to hear I'm not alone.

Re: New here and looking for answers.

hi and welcome. I have only been recently diagnosed so have blamed all the stuff that you mention on something else, stress, tiredness, underactive thyroid blah blah and I also have 14 year old son with adhd. this is what led me to seek help for myself because I realised that all the things I need to help him with, I couldnīt even do myself.
