Not taking anything seriously....
I'm 35 and don't take anything seriously...I don't know how to get over it but I'm a total screw up at everything. I failed the CPA exam twice because I never took the time to learn the details or understand the concepts I got laid off from my job at an accounting firm cause I never took the time to go over workpapers, put in the time to research something I wasn't sure about and just plain being "mentally lazy"

I always rush through things that bore me (most everything does) and wish I could be more detailed and thorough. Maybe quit drinking coffee would be the first step....I dunno....if I take Klonopin it makes me lazy and unmotivated. Same goes for all SSRI's, Adderall works but makes me feel stressed, Wellbutrin makes me zone out and turns me into angry/emotional mess, Vyvanse worked but the crashes were terrible, Dexedrine is weak.....Ritalin makes me anxious.

I'm "carelessly carefree"; sometimes I think I should be depressed because I'm really not where I should be.

off of meds I get like that quite a bit. I can be apathetic to a dangerous degree at times, when people are stressing out over some issue I can't bring myself to stress about it.

Other times I take everything too seriously though so it balances in an unbalanced way I guess.

I'm always one or the other. It's either 'you're too serious, lighten up' or 'you need to settle down and stop thinking of everything as a joke'. There is no happy medium for me
