My daughter's having anxiety issues, and my friend who's doing everything wrong with her depression offered to "help her through it" on facebook. On her status where I can't say anything without looking like a b****. Like I need this irritation now.

Yesterday at midnight, working until exhaustion, I came to discover - two day before the actual presentation on which my diploma is determined, I've lost my entire internship report.

I need an internship in a week for two months and my report & presentation for after tomorrow. I've got nothing, nada, zero anymore !!!

Needless to say I left school without a word (can't believe headmaster assistant - very annoying woman - didn't allow me to go and treated me like a kid) and furious as hell I'm now sitting downloading programs to try to recover the mess...

I'm furious

I don't want to sound weeny or anything, but besides losing my report and not having internship, my mouse also broke down... just saying I've had easier times

Actually, at about midnight, I ranted to another friend, then commented on said status, "Her mother's not dead yet, you know."

And she "liked" the status. So what's worse - passive-aggressive, or utterly clueless? And do I need either of them two days before brain surgery?

Wow - this has been a bad time for losing old friends.

Right now our Marching Band kids in all three High Schools are mourning the deaths of two kids from one of the other Bands a couple of towns away. Two sisters, both in Guard, killed in a head-on collision probably caused by skidding on wet road surface. In competitions, they're a band they're trying to beat - IRL, they're part of a big family.
