Hah,truck almost died on the highway coming to the hotel! It just had its PM a week ago,too! That raised the intensity of the headache a bit for sure!

AND,I got caught up in one of NJ's wonderful circles trying to pull into here,lol!
I just kept going round and round till I could get in the right lane without runnin' anybody over!

Well,lookin' forward to this...I think.

Thanks Lunacie. I know you suffer with those nasty migraines too. I think it must be the weather this time. I woke up and immediately felt the nausea and the pain. So glad I don't have to work!

I went through Toms River a few weeks ago,tram! Delivered to the Walmart in Brick,the one all tore up and getting remodeled. Exciting as usual...

What a great doc he sounds, I hope all goes well and you get sorted. (save the margaritas till later).

I was also lucky with my doc, she was very open minded and could easily have written me off as suffering depression and anxiety but she didn´t.

Hello Danelady

I'm new here, and have recently come to terms that I need to see an ADD professional and get a diagnosis - because examining everything in my life, I'm pretty damn certain that is what my issues are from.

Would you mind sharing where in NJ and what doctor (and also, what type.. psychiatrist, psychologist/etc)..? I'm looking for a professional to help me. For what it's worth, I'm located down in southern NJ (Atlantic City area) - but could drive for someone really good that actually cares!

what do I say about it...

lotta laughin' even more cryin'....great guy,had lots of cool things around to look at and focus on while I talked so I didn't have to look right at him.

adhd hyperactive.......... haha I swear I was bouncin' off the walls

depression

anxiety

could use meds but we don't want to jeopardize the one thing that has actually brought some sort of stability to my life...truck driving.

need to work on things the hard way....the only way I know how,really,and will talk about that again.

I told him something I have buried very deep and never thought I could tell anyone not here not anywhere and I don't think I can say those words ever again.

but it kinda felt good,it won't ever go away,but I needed to stop carrying that weight around took a some tests,answered a bunch of questions uccchhh!

I didn't realize my hotel was right around the corner,I walked there and back...I could very easily make this a regular stop.


OH,he was also a professional artist!! Had his scuplture on display in various places.

Ane he was also around my age...thank goodness! really didn't want to be talking to someone who was a lot younger than me.

Need to work on closing a few other problem areas of my life...and just learn to like myself.

So the usual ADHD medications are off-limits for drivers? That doesn't surprise me because it would make it really difficult to sort out abuse from correct use...

But what about things like Wellbutrin or Strattera? Or are you another one with very high BP, like me?

Anyway, that sounds like a kick-*** doc. and I'm glad that you found him.
