Being logged out every time I close browser window?

Since moving house I've noticed I often get logged out when I close my browser window even if I leave the laptop on and come back in a few minutes later, is there any way I can stop it from logging me out? It seems to be doing it intermittently so I don't know what's going on

(it's probably so obvious I'll kick myself for being stupid )

Did you change your cookies settings in your browser?

Re: Being logged out every time I close browser window?

Idk Laserbeak, not sure how to do it on google chrome

The only thing I can think of was that I was on firefox before but firefox stopped working for some reason so I changed to chrome

*checks keyboard for cookie crumbs* sorry I'm silly

Forgot to say my laptop has an obsession with trying to take me straight into my User CP when I first come online even though I'm not logged in then it yells at me that I can't view it because I'm not logged in

Re: Being logged out every time I close browser window?

It's been happening to me for the last 2 days on my firefox browser. If i use my ipad (safari), i'm okay??!

But what is happening, even with Safari, when i click on a thread to read it it says that it can't open the page. Does it happens to you?

Re: Being logged out every time I close browser window?

I can read the threads but I've got to log in again, then open the thread I want to read, then call the laptop something rude because it decides to close the internet, so I got to go back in and try to get back in again because it decides there's an error with google chrome and chrome needs to close now if not sooner

Firefox refuses to even open anything so I had to uninstall it
