Help, unable to post a thread topic about ADHD here at ADDForums

Help, I am unable to post a thread topic about ADHD here at ADDForums?

The thread title...

Quote:
Is ADD a separate disorder than ADHD?
The opening thread post is...

Quote:
In your opinion are ADD and ADHD separate disorders?

After I was unable to post the thread mentioned, I could post the thread called “Do [you] like caffeine” (link below) with no problem?

Re: Help, unable to post a thread topic about ADHD here at ADDForums

Yes, that looks like the forum being glitchy.

That said, you have already posted threads on topics very similar to this multiple times in the past few weeks, including these:
http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190048
http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190114
http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190287

And there are some threads started by other members on the same/similar topics.

Please don't start a new thread on that topic.

We have recently had numerous complaints about repetitive threads in several subforums. Please help us avoid this problem. Thanks!

Namazu

The thread question that I was unable to post was...

“Do you think ADD is a separate disorder than ADHD?”

Why do you think that question is the same question, as the other threads?

Re: Help, unable to post a thread topic about ADHD here at ADDForums

Please see the linked threads and browse the Inattentive and General ADD Talk sections.

You and other forum members (myself included) have compared and contrasted ADHD, ADHD-PI, ADD, and SCT multiple times in multiple ways in multiple threads in the past month and a half, including on several currently-active threads.

The topic of whether these labels represent the same or different conditions has been discussed ad nauseam in the past several weeks.

I have not asked this question.

“Do you think ADD is a separate disorder than ADHD?”

Re: Help, unable to post a thread topic about ADHD here at ADDForums

You have asked it, and it has been answered, in different words.

Posting repetitively is considered spamming the forum, and it is a violation of site guidelines. It gets confusing to have too many open/active threads about the same topic.

There is no need to post another thread on this topic while there are active threads in which the same topic is already being explored.

Thank you for your cooperation!

I have never asked that question?

What is going on here?

Could you show everyone where I have asked this question?

“Do you think ADD is a separate disorder than ADHD?”

Re: Help, unable to post a thread topic about ADHD here at ADDForums

Please see the links in the post above, which will take you to threads where we have discussed whether or not ADHD-PI, ADD, and SCT are the same thing; whether people prefer one label or another (and whether people think they're the same thing or not); whether Dr. Barkley thinks ADHD-PI and SCT and ADD are the same thing; etc. Please also see the Inattentive ADD and General ADD Talk sections for similar threads started by other members.

Please PM me if you have further questions. Thanks.
