Dexedrine, Dextrostat, or Generics (which company?)

Okay, so I'm going to get some medication tomorrow and I plan on discussing with my doctor what I want prescribed to me. I want to stick to the Adderall-type drugs. I would take a generic of Adderall, or a generic of Dexedrine. I refuse to pay so much more for a brand name, as long as the manufacturer is good enough in quality. So I wanted to ask everyone, if you are taking an Adderall or Dexedrine generic, which manufacturers should I avoid? By looking through the forums, I have concluded that any generics made by Barr Laboratories are crap, as they give many people headaches. I've also read that their overall efficacy is considered to be inferior to other manufacturers (such as Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals). I just want to know what manufacturers I should avoid. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks a lot people!

The chemical name for it is d-alpha-methylphenethylamine. Dextroamphetamine is the generic duplicate of Dexedine, which was originally made by Glaxo Smith Kline.

I believe the patent has run out on it so GSK no longer corners the market. Dextrostat is a generic of Dexedrine, but Shire has given it its own "brand" name. Dextrostat is the same as Dexedrine -- though if you read more on this forum you will find that not all gerneric drugs are created equal.
