Place for favourite threads to find them quickly?

Just wondering if you can save your favourite threads somewhere in your User CP or something so you can find them easily when you come back onto the site?

Along the top of the page, the is a bar that includes "User CP".
Click on User CP to get to your "user control panel".

You will be able to easily access your subscribd threads and see which subscribed threads have new messages.

To subscribe to threads:
In the left frame, in the Settings & Options section, Click on "Edit options"

In the Messaging section, you will see an option about thread subscription. The default is to automatically subscribe to any new threads that you create and any threads that you reply to. I'm not sure what subscription options are available. You can edit delete subscriptions and move subscriptions to folders if you want to sort them.

Also, without going to the user cp, you can easily spot thread that you have replied to by looking for a checkmark (also look for stars for popular threads)

or click the quick links, and the fourth from the bottom is subscribed threads, which I believe shows the threads you've posted in, in bold if there's a new post.

Did I miss it? What if you don't post but want to follow the thread?

I'm quite sure you can only subscribe to a thread if you post on it. But Vicki, if you want to follow a thread and not post, a good idea I have found is to make a new folder in your favorites called something like "ADDFORUMS", and save the link to your new favorites folder while you are on the thread. It works. Just delete each bookmark as you have finished with it.

I hope that helps.

Yes your right...I subscribe to the entire section in which I moderate. I get daily updates when someone posts there or makes a new thread. If you don't want to watch the whole section I would suggest just subscribing to the thread.

Re: Place for favourite threads to find them quickly?

Sorry this may seem silly but I'm not following you guys - I have already replied in 3 threads and have now changed my settings to subscribe automatically but what about those three threads that I have already posted in? How do I find them again and subscribe to them?

Re: Place for favourite threads to find them quickly?

Click on your own user name to generate pull down menu, then click find all post by "dragoinfryer" which is the third choice, Clicking that should take you to a page that displays all of your previous post

I would do screen shots but imaging isn't working in this section.

Sorry for the delay I have a very persistent feline and a slick clean computer desk - I knew better than to clean
