WriteRoom for Macs and "zenware"

A friend pointed out a website to to me:
macheist.com

They're offering a free mac bundle for the next couple days. Included is WriteRoom. "They present you with tabula rasa interfaces for doing word processing, so you don’t have system trays, docks, icons and alerts staring at you or flashing at you all the time."

It's supposed to be a "zen software" to decrease distractions whilst you're writing.
have any of you tried WriteRoom?

I think I'm going to give it a whirl.

Whilst I was researching this MacHeist and the bundle (I'm the suspicious sort and don't trust right away, especially free things), I found an article on "zen software" software that helps decrease distractions. It's an older article, but I thought you all might want to know about it.

I could only find good things about macheist,except for some twitter advertising abuse that seems to be resolved.

By all appearances,they are legit.
Offer ends real soon,and apparently they are having servers being overloaded so you might not get the download right away.
Personally,I think this inconvenience is just a stunt.
I'd also get a disposable e-mail address to give them,but that's just me.
