for those that do well on concerta ritalin

what happens when you have trialed adderall? I'm intrigued because I too take concerta but have in the past had success with adderall for a few months, the symptom control was far greater and it was far smoother in spectrum control. I'm just wondering if anybody out there has had the same issues as me.

I do well on Concerta. When I was a kid, I self-medicated with Adderall about 5 days/week. Never actually been prescribed Adderall. I do suspect it could possibly work even better and my psychiatrist has suggested it in the past due to some annoying side effects (stomachache, etc) but I always decline.

I worry that I would "like" it too much, and could destroy everything I've worked so hard to build while taking Concerta. If Concerta works well enough that I'm mostly functional, I don't see any reason to switch at this time.

well concerta works well but I have had limited success with adderall briefly , but when I did or was taking it the symptom control was by far greater than the relief I have on concerta. The spectrum of control regarding all adhd issues from social to listening were much better and the release was alot smoother. concerta does not give me those benefits, it helps alot but my focus is more narrowed.
