I was 37 when I was diagnosed....entirely possible and often very common.
You've gotten lots of good advice here so I won't add except to say ask a lot of questions and don't let anyone brush you off until you've gotten them answered. Therapists and doctors are human too so be sure they are actually getting at what is going on. Whatever it is....ADD, Depression..other...you deserve to know and don't need to suffer with it. good luck and welcome to the forums.
