HA! I thought Tigger was kidding about NT being an old Microsoft operating system...I went to buy my textbook from the college bookstore yesterday and saw they an operating system software on there and it said NT and I was like "! Tigger was right! It IS an operating system!"...I didn't know that

Re: What does NT stand for?

I just learned something.

I thought it meant 'Neurotic Teacher.' Oh wait, that's me.

No, but seriously somehow I was under the misguided assumption that it meant 'Normal Thinker.'

I know what you mean. I am am an old "DOShead". I still think in DOS and not in Windows.

The world passes me by but somehow I still manage to muddle on.

Re: What does NT stand for?

If it helps any guys...

I still remember QDOS. And CP/M. I can still speak COBOL.

In Mac world, I date back to System 6. I am currently on OS X- Snow Leopard.

I can still UNIX at the command line. I find it painful to hear that there are people who have never heard of the old systems that I cut my teeth on.

*sigh*

Never forget. "Normal" is just a setting on the washing machine.
Do you really want to be a setting on the washing machine?
If you do, wouldn't you rather be the spin cycle?
