The Consumer Resource and Outreach Project is operated solely by mental health consumers for the purpose of giving consumer input into policy making decision at the State and local levels. They also provide technical assistance to those consumers interested in policy making. CROP participates in the development of State mental health planning, and educates the public about consumer issues.
