Should children with adhd be sat at the front of the class

should my daughter be at the front of the class, I am just asking cause she started Juniors last week and yesterday came home with homework that didn't make sense and she wasn't sure what to do either and admitted in class after the teacher had told the class what to do she still had to ask the person sitting next to her what the teacher said as she wasn't listening or concentrating and I feel she should be near the front where the teacher can keep an eye in her and make sure she understands what she is supposed to be doing. All this is exactly what happened last year during the class in year 2, she would constantly be asking the person sitting next to her what to do and had to told to start work or keep being told to stay on task.
