I have used hypnosis to treat my GAD and depression. I have had good results. I never used to treat my ADD

It was an utter failure. I was too distractible to focus on the guided imagery, though afterwards I came up with a fun mapping of where my mind went instead of where it was supposed to go...

(That said, that psychiatrist and I did not have the best working relationship, either, so I don't know if it might have worked better had I trusted/respected her more.)

I have not heard of hypnosis being an effective treatment for ADHD symptoms themselves.

That sounds fascinating! I had a weird reaction the first time I saw a photo of Machu Picchu in Peru. Felt like I'd been there before, like I knew that place.
