Think I need to take a self productivity break. Starting to feel like I’m sucking at everything and I’m tired.

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part VI

going to sleep soon , had my therapy session today after 3 weeks break
it was efficient one, i talked a lot probably next week we are going to focus on what i have told today. it made me aware of lots of process about myself since i passed darkest times of my life. can't say that it is perfect but mostly good , i wonder what my therapist think about it
i will keep a dream diary, she wants me to tell the dreams that i have seen but i forget so fast and easily if dream was not intense , so it is better to write. I must keep it on desk near my bed so i can write it down after i wake up

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part VI

it is add/drop week, i wasnt able to take transportation economy class because actual enrolment was equal to quote of course , so i registered to an elective course which is introduction to social sciences.
i wanted try my chance few minutes ago and just checked, i saw that somebody dropped transportation economy course so there was place for one student , i registered course.

this year , i am pretty lucky about everything , few times i forgot to set alarm on important days but i woke up at exact times etc.
i wish i could use this luck in casino
this semester is going to be more intense but it worths it, next year is my last year and i can take elective course next year so my next year will be lot easier

tomorrow i am going to take ritaline before course , i don't know why but i feel little bit drowsy or brain foggy in mornings

i already have an idea about transportation economy , i passed transportation engineering course with C without doing highway project last semester
i really hate those kind of projects, just need to follow codes/guidelines and time consuming, maybe because of ADHD , i hate the projects and assaignments which needs weeks of working

reading about a scientific research drug, it's name is Luzindole. i find it interesting
it is melatonine receptor antagonists, it disrupts circadian ryhtms in animals but produces anti-depressant effects

What's bothering me right now is that I have to pay for a plane ticket tomorrow (that wasn't rebookable as I thought) that I won't use because of earlier mentioned breakup.

Kind of a reversed Valentine's gift?

My husband has taken one of the dogs to the vet. He was sick, then started shaking and then got really lethargic. I am so worried. I can't go with him to the vet coz the puppy can't be left alone without freaking out. I have this awful feeling in the pit of my stomach and I can't work out if it's anxiety it intuition.

He's got a fever and has to stay at the emergency hospital until they have run the tests to find out what it is. So worried

Usually, I would never hope for anxiety. In this case, I sure hope it is rather than intuition. I hope your pet gets well soon!

Anxiety is so bad today, more like I’m frozen. I said something to my manager how this kid would say the managers don’t like you and she just had this guilty frozen look on her face. She crazy anyway but makes me feel like ****

He's home now but I spent all night thinking through everything I've done in the last couple of days and stressing about whether that's the cause. They still haven't found the reason but we have to take him for a liver test in 2 weeks time. He's still really groggy. Hubby has taken him to a vet now (what he was in was an animal ER) so see what they say. Stressful times

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part VI

I don't want to start a new thread to ask this question: Is this typical of ruminating?

Sometimes I have these idle moments in the day, usually the morning, where I suddenly obsess over a past hurtful experience I often make reference to (about being ghosted) and I feel tempted to the ghoster a piece of my mind (even though he told me not to communicate with him)

BUT THEN, suddenly, my mind goes into "positive thinking/therapist" mode and as my mind is occupied with other things and shifts attention away from myself, I look back and think to myself "Now why was I even obsessing over this? Why was I feeling so butt hurt?"

I don't get it, How is it that I have moments where I feel so hurt about something in the past and then suddenly don't feel anything about it? Perhaps it's obsessing on the negative side of the situation that's making me feel bad? Maybe looking on the bright side is why I suddenly feel like I'm over it?

By WHY does my mind flip flop like that? Why does it seem like I'm over it for a while and then it bites back with a vengeance?

I've read somewhere that grief comes in waves... so maybe that's what it is?

Your brain gets bored and gets distracted by other things. Plus we’d be real miserable if anyone thought about the same memory all the time. Your brain copes.

Not sure what it was. He's back to his usual self now. Me and hubby on the other hand are still shattered from the stress and the thought of losing him. In 2006 our German shepherd girl got lethargic and died unexpectedly. So we panicked thinking the same thing might happen here. And then I also needed to have how I felt about what happened all those years ago as I has to be the strong one and never really got to grieve. It's all feeling a bit much!
