Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part V

I've been on the Risperdal for like 2 weeks now. It's possible it could be due to the depression that is the reason I'm on the Risperdal that made me not do the yoga which leads to the fibromyalgia pain coming back. if I get it again tomorrow I'm going to call my psych and see what she wants to do.

Foot seems okish now just a little sore. But when I woke up it was unbearable. i wasn't able to walk. Took like 20 minutes in bed almost crying from pain before I was able to stand up.

This is the problem with having so many damned disorders. I have no idea what is causing this. And it's only at night. And always a different part of the body. And if it was muscular I take 4mg Zanaflex before I go to bed. I tried taking 2 once. It makes me hallucinate. Do not do.

I guess I see what breaks tomorrow and figure out what to do about it.

Don't let the internet trolls get to you psycho. My mom died suddenly 14 years ago. Still feels like yesterday. My sister found her and I was called in and her lips were blue. Called 911, did CPR, got her back, but she went into a coma and had permanent brain damage. My dad refused an autopsy so I have no idea what happened to her which is bad enough but I don't know if it's a genetic issue I should worry about.

Good job on the game!

They have Magic online? Do you like, pay for cards? Or do you have to have a physical card? How does that work?

I wish Tigger would use the litter tray properly and stop peeing over the side of the litter tray. Just had to dump another load of vinegar all over the bathroom floor again.

SORRY LY-LYS!
I'll stop puking in your bed!

Really wish you'd have just PM'ed me though...instead of calling me out in the public like this! I have a reputation to keep around here, you know?

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part V

Tornado on the ground ... 45 miles south of us.

Thankfully it's moving east so won't bother us.

But there is a storm system that is popping up storms all the way from Texas
to Wisconsin, and the front line runs right through Kansas.

So I won't be watching any cable channels, just the local channels with radar.

It's been such a quiet spring, but I guess all good things come to an end.

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part V

The meteorologist is on the phone live with the storm chaser who is watching
this tornado closely ... and he just got hit by someone running a stop sign!

The storm is starting to build to the north, bringing it closer to where I live.
The tornado is in the south part of the storm, but I don't like seeing any storms
anywhere close to me with the threat of tornados all evening in our area.

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part V

Why in the crap don't our doctors tell us everything?

PAs (physician's assistant) are great at sharing info.

Arrived for the epidural this morning and had an interview with the PA first.
She double checked my meds and history.

She was telling me what the spine specialist had put in his notes and asked if
he had told me all of this. Uh ... no.

So she explained that I actually did have a herniated disk about 25 years ago.

Seems like the specialist would have asked me if I'd been treated for that, but I
never went to the doctor when it happened because that doc was so amazingly
UNhelpful when my back was first injured 42 years ago.

Oddly, it's the very bottom disk that herniated, but the next disk up that is
causing the pain due to degeneration. I guess it had to compensate for the
herniated disk for all these years.

When dentists give me novacaine it affects me neurologically, an emotional
reaction.

They use a different 'caine to numb the area for this procedure and instead of
having the neurological-emotional reaction, I got an allergic reaction as the
sides of my tongue swelled up. Makes it difficult to talk without biting my
tongue when I get this reaction.

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part V

I'm not in a good space right now guys.
I guess it's not a "bad" space. Not dangerous.
Just...very odd. Not good. Uneasy. Sad.

I guess it's just where I'm meant to be today.

Tomorrow will be 1 year.
It feels like there's a permanence in 1 year.
Like...once 1 year passes...there's no coming back. There's no possible hope. My mom is gone.

I'm just...
I'm in a weird place.
Maybe it is bad.
Or at least it's going that direction.
I feel like calling out for help.

I miss my mom god dman it! I miss my ******* mom.

I'm so tired.
I wish I could goto sleep and stay asleep. Why do I fight it so hard?

I had like 6 steroid shots in my spine for degenerated, herniated disk pinching a nerve. (Partially from the sky diving accident). I was over the shots because they barely helped and I hated them. I was like, I can't walk 1/8 of a mile without severe pain how am I going to run? I was told I probably wouldn't be able to run again.

Sent to a spinal surgeon who said he couldn't help me and I should give up trying to run.

Then I went to another spinal surgeon. He said, lose the weight, strengthen the core to support the spine. Do some water exercises. You'll be fine. Personally, I think water exercises are for 80 year old ladies. Well I've lost almost 40 lbs and been doing yoga since September of last year.

And guess what, I'm f****ing running again.

Try and tell me what I can and cannot do will they....

I'm telling you guys. Being stubborn works.

Sorry the shots didn't help you. Glad to hear you found something that does help.

My back was hurting when I weighed half of what I weigh now.
Yeah it hurts more now, but there's been 40 years of nothing being done
because I had a stupid doctor.

The migraine was so bad last night that I didn't sleep well.
It's impossible to sleep well when it feels like the pillow is filled with rocks.
Same pillow that felt great the night before.

So I noticed that when I rolled over it wasn't as difficult or painful.
I was able to make the bed this morning without sitting down halfway through.

Another poster said the numbing agent gave some relief for a few days.
Hope this is more than that and the shot is really helping.

If the pain is really gone and doesn't come back in a week or two,
I'm seriously thinking to taking some Pilates classes to build core strength.
