Wink From groveling to being confrontational with people.

I used to really really have bad self esteem issues, still do to a lesser extent but it was so bad I used to grovel to people which in turn they would only abuse me more but over the years I've learned to stand up for myself and pretty sure adderall has helped but of course now on occasion I do blow up on people and I'm less patient going into my later years, trying to find that happy medium while reminding myself I'm far from perfect and hopefully those explosive situations do blow over eventually.

Anyone else have similar story to share?

Re: From groveling to being confrontational with people.

A bit like that. I was shy, however, and didn't expect people to like me much growing up. I DID have a bit more confidence in adulthood, but remembering those years of being bullied or ignored, it wasn't easy to trust. Especially because I was always different...ADD, poverty, a religious family who moved around too much, just different. Never knew how to talk to people. S0 I read books...the ultimate fantasy, to lose yourself in the story.
