HRT & ADD Medication effectiveness

Anyone here on HRT?
Anyone notice a significant difference in medication effectiveness when having a 'bleed'?

I know that progestins are supposed to interfere with ADD medication effectiveness and that ADD is worse during the luteal phase (PMS phase)
but,

what about during a bleed? (when on estrogen but not progestin)

curious

thanks

Re: HRT & ADD Medication effectiveness

I'm not on HRT, but I just got the Nexplanon implant. I had no idea Progestin affects ADD meds. That's just great, it sucks being a woman. My ADD seems equally bad 24/7 and I have never noticed it worsen during any phase in my cycle, but then was never paying any attention to it, either. I'm also not at a therapeutic level with medication yet, so really have nothing to offer, other than just to say that I didn't know all this and I'm glad I read this post because now I'm interested in looking more into how our hormones affect ADD.
