Question for those who were hired under Schedule A

Hi,

Those of you who were hired as federal employees under schedule A, how are you treated by your colleagues and managers?
Any discrimination?
Dirty looks?
Are you micromanaged?
Anyone tried to intentionally make you miserable?

Many thanks!

Schedule A refers to a special hiring authority that gives Federal agencies an optional, and potentially quicker, way to hire individuals with disabilities. ... You can apply for jobs using Schedule A, if you are a person with an intellectual disability, a severe physical disability, or a psychiatric disability.
I posted this because I was unfamiliar with it myself. I do not work so I cant share but maybe someone else can.

Sarah described it above, and you can find more information here from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Edited to add: It's a US-specific program for hiring people with disabilities into government jobs. Other countries may (or may not) have similar programs, each with their own specifics.
