Treating ADHD With Colonic Irrigation

For those who have just arrived what is going on is that usually someone comes to the forum with yet another "natural" technique that promises to "cure" ADHD -- and enrich the promoter. Then the righteous forum members pile on to disprove the technique -- and get a little ridicule in for good measure.

This time I thought we could skip the quack cure step and just go on to the pile-on phase.

I am sure I am going to get laughed at for making this post.

I don't think that "colonic irrigation" will cure ADHD.

But I do think that if a person has a problem,

"relieving" any stress will partly help.



ADHD has many parts,

relieving any of the stresses will help some,

if the stresses already exist.

"Depends" on the individual person.

One less stress to deal with.

I actually tried this treatment before. I don't know that I'm surprised at much that happens or appears online. It's a free-for-all.

Hey, at least it was presented more as a "can you believe someone is promoting this?" than a "Colonic irrigation can treat ADHD!" thing.

I just hope to god ADHD treatments never approach the, er diversity and creativity of treatments people have come up with for autism.

The most recently horrifying one I came across was using "Miracle Mineral Supplement" (also known as "industrial bleach") to treat autism.

I used to work with a kiddo who was GFCF, on all sorts of supplements, hyperbaric chamber, and chelation. That kid was MISERABLE.

I don;t know these guys may have a valid point - Sticking a tube up my rectum and filling my a** full of some type of fluid would more than likely get my attention, as would sticking magnets in my ears.

Sounds a bit messy but then again wtf would I be able to hear with an ear full of magnets any way


Personally I think I will stick to the "three M's" Medication, Meditation if it gets really bad maybe add in a bit of Masturbation from time to time.
