Re: How's your basic problem solving/comprehension

It generally depends on my interest in the problem. For example, I love creative problems, and I generally get a bit over-enthusiastic about taking them on... sometimes to a competitive point.

Re: How's your basic problem solving/comprehension

I have improved focus on AMP but tend to not focus to my satisfaction until I reach "hyper-focus". I'm very good at my job when I reach hyper focus (and studying), penetrating information that otherwise would be a much greater challenge.

Re: How's your basic problem solving/comprehension

I'm pretty good at problem solving because I'm creative but I absolutely suck at comprehension because I can't pay attention long enough to get anything.

Exactly which problems?

Problems of logic, or mechanical aptitude - probably top 10%. Why? Being socially inept, I spent my days by myself in books and tinkering with stuff to take apart and put back together. Anything you spend 10,000 hours or more doing, you're gonna be good at.

Life management, social, keeping things in order? Bottom 5%.

Mine is the opposite. Math & logic are my hyperfocus. I am really good at it. I am in academia and I know some colleagues who are ADHD also. In fact I think academia has a larger share of ADHDs than the general population.
