New Member, found out at 26 I have ADHD

Hi, I found out on June 14, 2012 at 26 years of age I have ADHD.
And it's really, really bad. I got put on Concerta 18mg and holy cow does it work but sometimes I worry it's not the best thing for my heart.
As of this writing, 03/07/2012, It’s been less than a full month since I found out.
I'm focused on solving this issue.
This isn't really a joyous occasion for me. Long story short: in grade 6 they wanted to assess me for a learning disability. My father kept this from happening. I've got a lot of pain from being made fun off, being treated badly, obesity, a wasted life from crippling ADHD.
I'm working on an action plan, a combination of drugs/supplement/exercise in the mourning, still researching, part of the reason I'm here. When I come up with a concrete plan when I'm done reading this book, I'll post it up and try keep a log.
I'm going to try to help myself and you guys as best I can. Because if we don't help each other; nobody else is going to. Nobody else understands us, if fact, most people who see us and our problems thinks its just our fault for being bad people. So lets do something about it.



Btw, I'm a COD:MW3 Elite addict, already got BO2 pre-ordered, so if you're down, we should try some pub-stomping. I knock em down like an elephant rolling over bowling pins.
