Hyperactivity

How many of you never “outgrew” your hyperactivity? If so, how does it impact your life now?

Re: Hyperactivity

I am actually more hyperactive now than I used to be, in particular mentally.

Re: Hyperactivity

At 44 my hyperactivity became restlessness as I became an adult. Unmedicated I tend to prefer to stand than sit and if I'm bored I may pace all this with short sitting breaks unless I'm driving and therefore mentally stimulated. Also when I've had enough I just lay down for a bit or just at night for sleep but generally sitting still is almost impossible. I tend to fidget alot as well weather I'm grooming my beard or touching my face or head quite often. That's just me hope it helps. As for mental hyperactivity I've just never been able to compare to know but I suspect my thoughts would be considered rapid constant sometimes friviless and I often forget what I want to do because another interrupting thought will take over before I initiate anything productive .
