What does my list of favorite movies reveal about me?
What does it say about me when my 5 favorite movies are The Social Network, Good Will Hunting, Wuthering Heights (2009), Cyberbully, and Mean Girls?
I also kinda like Cherry and No Strings Attached. My attention span can't even survive 5 seconds out of watching any other movie. |

Re: What does my list of favorite movies reveal about me?
I don't really have a list of favorites, but two movies that I can watch over and over again are Time Bandits and The Specials. BTW, when I say "over and over again", I mean maybe a dozen times so far, probably less. I generally don't rewatch movies at all, unless they just happen to be on the TV set or on the DVD that's in the player, and I'm too lazy to look for anything else.

And I can't even tell you how much I miss The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. It hurts my heart that that show is not around anymore. Some of my favorite movies include School of Rock, Singin' in The Rain, The Simpson's Movie, 500 Days of Summer, and Juno. I have no clue what that says about me except for that I'm a teenage girl ![]() |

Re: What does my list of favorite movies reveal about me?
Is Pirate Radio the one where they are out on the ocean broadcasting because Rock music is illegal in Europe or something? I think i saw that a loooooooong time ago.
Another favorite movie of mine is Beetlejuice. Im trying to think of funny movies. My kids can watch Adam Sandler movies over and over like that. I have the amazing talent of being able to talk like Adam Sandler. LOL They used to watch Joe Dirt over and over and knew it by heart, every line in it. I can't do that with any movie, I can sometimes pull a quote out of a movie. Me and my friend anytime we are cleaning, we are always like, "This is going to be great! We're going to have so much more room for ACTIVITIES!" lol I liked Bad Santa too, its not really a great movie, and its kind of depressing when you think about it and actually sit and overanalyze it, but i like Billy Bob Thornton, and he is just beyond obnoxious in it. I can watch the show Squidbillies over and over and over and never get tired of it. Mystery Science Theater is a great show. I havent seen that in ages! |

Re: What does my list of favorite movies reveal about me?
1. Hackers
2. The Shining 3. Pirates of Silicon Valley 4. PCU 5. Tron (original) Generally I dont watch these in one sitting. Pause is a wonderful thing Netflix is even better, or I will listen to them while I am at work to drown out the rest of the office noise. |

Re: What does my list of favorite movies reveal about me?
my favorite movies are A Clockwork Orange, Donnie Darko, Limitless, Rob Zombie movies, Stanley Kubrick movies, Grandma's Boy, Step Brothers, any movie by Tarantino and/or Rodriguez, Kevin Smith movies, Tim Burton movies, Watchmen, and superhero movies
my favorite genre are Psychological movies (typically Psych. Thriller as the genre), Comedy, Action, old Horror (most horror movies made today kinda suck, the good stuff is done already), and movies that really make you think. ive mentioned it on some other thread but i almost like movies where the protagonist sacrifices himself to save everybody...but doesnt get revived or saved by others somehow. i feel that their death adds so much more depth and emotion into the work itself (kinda like in Green Lantern but if the others didnt come for him, it wouldve been a more powerful movie but audiences wouldve been ****** since it's a freaking superhero movie, the superhero cant die!)
