Re: Finally Got The Answer

by the way,I started bodybuilding since monday
it helps a little
i hope i can start everything from zero

i lost my grades, lost my mental health, cost me another delay of graduation, i lost very emotional relationship during that duration i mean , it was hell

:/

hopefully i can start building everything from zero

if it evolves to depression , i welcome it, depression was my most comfortable illness

Re: Finally Got The Answer

After almost 3 weeks i am stabilized
My doctor said he will overwatch my situation during seasons transitions

I am currently on:
300mg Quetiapine XR
500mg + 750mg Depakine Chrono ( morning&evening)
20mg Prozac

He said that he isn't sure that it was hypomanic episode or overload of medicines(condition caused by medicine)
He said that you was on 20mg Escitalopram + 150mg Trazadone + 72mg Methylphenidate
so maybe it was a condition caused by excess amount of medicine
He said that if it is BPII, "you will have an episode again even if you use medicine, symptoms will be less severe but u will have"

But i am not going to stop using medicines soon , especially Depakine

Firstly we will reduce Quetiapine gradually, it will be reduced to 200mg next month

After 6-12 months doctor will decide whether i have to keep using Depakine or not

it is a little bit annoying, waiting 1 year for getting diagnosed
but it has positive side, if i do not have BP-II i dont have to deal with BP-II

so we will see what happens in 6-12 months i guess

By the way there are two different diagnosis because i go to two different doctors
when i visit my home , i go to my mother's doctor he is my doc for almost 7 years, my mom has BP-I
He says that it is too early to diagnose

When i am at dormitory during semester times, i go to another doctor
i met him just 5-6 months ago and he saw me 3-4 times
he diagnosed BP-II

I pay more attention to my mom's doc, because he knows family background and my historical process

Don't worry and don't wish you didn't. I am more than happy to learn about other cultures.

I'm in Australia and we speak a different version of English here. One time I wrote something on here that no one understood and created similar confusion. If people don't understand then they can ask and get educated about different cultures and terms. This is supposed to be an international forum. Speak in your own way and in your own terms. I don't mind being educated. And it makes me think about the word karma and where it originated from.

if i started medicine faculty and became a psychiatrist , i could do it for myself

This is a late response, but I think it is essential that we self observe.
The psychiatric profession really only has very coarse outlines of what these conditions are. I have found some Vipassana meditation training really helpful- as it trains you to observe your alertness, your thoughts, your emotions and your sensations closely and together. That has given me great insight into my condition, which over the last 30 years has got me much closer to understanding both my bipolar and my ADHD, and their relationship.

In fact my observations were so good that my psychiatrist resumed my dexamphetamine after a year off ( I had had a rough 3 years to 2018, with 4 involuntary admissions).

Karma is a word that comes from Sanskrit.

It approximately means the effect of your actions on who you are.
The textbook definition is that karma means action, work or deed; it also refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect).

Interestingly the word is used correctly in Turkey but it also has a second meaning - "mixed".

Like most languages Turkish contains quite a few Sanskrit words.

No wonder it gets confusing.

Re: Finally Got The Answer

it is almost a year, i havent had any manic or depressive episode
me and my psychatrist changed medicines a little bit but it had better effect on me

wellbutrin 300mg
depakine extended relase 750mg + 750mg(morning and evening)
Gyrex(Quetiapine) 100mg (evenning)

these three works out really good, getting right treatment made significant change in i am still getting used to mood fluctuation but daily not like episodes, just normal u have bad days u have good days etc.
unlike before (rocketing period started,i got destroyed period)

Those 3 meds i have been using them since 2019's beginning of summer

I also become able to use my ADHD medicine during october , i guess true stabilization helped me to not get bad effect, or not trigger mania during usage of it
also i dont need higher doses like 54-72mg
36mg + few ritalin boosts are enough, i do not use daily , it doesnt cause any problem but i still want to minimize risk

i also started going to psychologist, she uses psychodynamic theraphy method, i also find it more useful since it goes deeper, i want to know and control everything about myself
theraphy is not for ADHD nor Bipolar, in general i want to figure out what kind of neurotic problems i have , do i have any personality disorder etc.
i want to be able to achieve my potential maximum of it, and theraphy is very helpful in my opinion

finally i am able save my academic life also , i had really good GPA this semester
when my mental health is stable, it only depends on my effort and i tried to did my best

we will see what happens
