So what do you guys like doing for fun?

I seem to rotate interests but right now, I just bought a spring season pass so going skiing every week. I LOVE virtual reality. And my niece just started learning piano so I have once again found motivation to play the keyboard again. I also like watching tv/movies and wasting time on the internet. Oh and I play this mini golf king game on my phone - my nephew got me into it and it's good for down times when I'm stuck somewhere.

I love motorcycles ATVs jet skis,bicycling guitars.their ain't enough time in the day or money for what I like to do.. nitro RC cars are fun too.believe it or not n I know it sounds laughable I enjoy enjoy coloring.

My mom colors too. I think it's gotten pretty popular for adults to color these days so you aren't alone. She says it's extremely relaxing.

Well, I just released a Monarch butterfly I raised from a caterpillar today...that was nice! Gardening...can't do much hard work now until my back heals. But watching nature is still possible.

I am trying to teach myself to crochet using youtube(recommend videos if you know of any.) My grandma started to teach me when I was younger but all I can do for now is one long strip of a single row. If anyone needs a scarf for their pet hamster let me know.

I've just jumped back into yo-yoing haha .
There's a LOT more to it these days than a little round plastic toy moving up and down a string!
I haven't played with one of these things in like 15+ years! I was never super good with one back then...though I was just starting to be able to land some advance tricks and combos.
In 2001 I even talked my parents into driving me over to Las Vegas where I competed in a big Yomega yo-yo contest...people from all over the world came to compete! I ended up winning 1st place in the novice division ...it was such a great time! i met so many freaking awesome people!

I own this beauty from years ago:

It's hard to see, but half of it is a lighter green and the other a very dark green. All alluminum...and it's just beautiful! Feels amazing in the hand too!!

And I just made my dad (lol) order me this guy!


Yoing is just as much about collecting new yo-yos for me...as it is actually playing with them. And OMG! They've advanced tremendously in the last 15 years and there's SO many beautiful throws now that it's crazy!

Here's one of my favorite videos of yo-yoing. I got to meet this guy in the Vegas competition and he's a SUPER cool dude. He even designed a few yo-yos and I still have one of them (it's part plastic and part metal)...

I have an aunt who's big into crocheting and she's done so much amazing stuff over the years.
She does the typical stuff like scarves, winter pull down hats and such...but she also does SUPER cute stuffed animals too. This one time when I was a kid she somehow made a pretty big ship that had a hole in the bottom...and it was stuffed with a bunch of smaller animals. 2 of each...it was noah's ark! lol I wish I still had it...it was really freaking neat, and all crocheted.
She also made me a really cool alligator that I still have and love. He's about 3 feet long which was super huge when I was still a kid!

I just google searched it and I guess there's a name for the stuff she does. Amigurumi lol

haha I totally geeked out on these and bought a TON of them. Glad I did too cause my dollar tree never got any back in.

i got like 7 or 8 little houses, and a bunch of figurines. Both fairies and gnomes hehe. I also got lots of decorative rocks, some moss balls, and a bunch of other cute stuff.

We have small little patches outside of each of our apartments we can use to garden in...one of these decades when I get the motivation to do it, I'm going to build a little gnome place in my garden, and a fairy one in my neighbor's. Wont tell her I'm doing it, and she'll get such a huge kick out of it!

at the end of the strip, do 2 chain stiches.
turn it over and " crochet into" that full stitch you just made, that is now the beginning of the new row.

( i had to have written instructions, i cant learn with videos...)

I learn best if I'm shown but I'm made too do it.coloring relaxes me better then having to take a cloni or a smoke or get hopped up on alcohol.love the glow in the dark or the neon ones that flash yoyos pyscho.

I recently became very interested in the stock market and investing in general. It's something I enjoy doing and I figure it can be productive way to make some extra money on the side.

It's always been hard for me to maintain an interest in something, as I'll usually stay consistent for about 2 weeks then lose interest. So far so good though!
