i usually manage to stop myself before that happens thankfully, cuz usually those songs are awesome. although those kinds of songs vary greatly in terms of genre and lyrics haha.

Re: You Know You Have ADHD When ...

check to see how much yarn is left for a crochet project - lots, yay!
think you'll do a bit of crochet while watching the second half of a soccer game;
sort through the whole basket with the crochet stuff instead (at the end of the couch)

at the bottom of the basket: a half-read book about ADD purchased last summer on vacation! on august 26.

When you can't remember your beloved two nephews birthdays, even if they are the only nephews/niece in your famely

When the only way to remember your weddingday is to look inside your wedding ring, or when your see the bouquet of roses on the dinner table

When you keep forgeting the sanitary napkin durring your periode

When you often find your self wearing your shirt inside out

Done pretty much the same thing with my proximity card from work. I've also tried to open the doors at work with my bus pass.

When your afraid to leave your filled and heavy shopping cart in the store to go look for something at the other end of the store, that you forgot. Because you may never find your cart again! And you'll have to start shopping all over again!

Strangely enough, I never forget *any* birthday. Sometimes, it just makes me look like I have Asperger - at least the way I remember them. Like a friend of mine, exactly 7 days after my mom's birthday. My dad is 2/2. My bankcode is x+y-z=a (xyza would be the code then. And I should tell you that one of the xyz is just a zero lol). Also for their ages I sometimes do that. Or phone numbers. xx = birthyear of this person - 10, yy = the month someone else was born in zz = my mom's birthyear leaves xxyyzz = phonenumber of some other person that has nothing to do with these three people. It's awkward. But I stopped doing this somewhere during my puberty, leaving me more easily forget numbers. But dates is still the same thing. Like xxyyzz = x+x+y-y (multiply or whatever by a random number) =zz. Seriously? Why?
