LMAO again!!! Lettie, I obviously was way off on my first translation, but since SB UK expanded it more, I think I may have it. I have to admit SB UK, while I marvel at the depths of your thought process and the depth of emotion that you convey, there are some ADD moments when you leap from idea to idea that I get lost. I apologize for those times now and in the future but I fear I am the one missing out, you obviously have so much to convey. And I applaud Lettie for having the courage to say "huh"!

I think he's saying that regardless of whether you have looked at your ADD in the past as either a disorder or simply a trait of yours, i.e. memory problems as a disorder of the loving nature of ADD'ers and a postive, they are all really components of the same Dog, ADD. And as such, and like a loyal pooch, your ADD is waiting on the porch on it hinds legs waiting to be tickled between the ears. The between the "ears" is where I placed too much emphasis. He's simply saying your ADD will forgive you and be glad that you're willing to play with it again, so to speak.

Beautiful analogy, SB UK.

Roy G Biv is an unknown quantity at this point
Does the article suggest that, instead of complaining about the direction of the wind, we simply adjust our sails???????

Now that I understand!!!! But, I'm so confused at this point that the article probably says don't complain about the direction of the wind, and don't adjust your sails.... but just paint the boat bright pink with a big smiley face, and serve margaritas all day long so no one will know the difference.

Just a joke....don't get mad.

I have just read the original post, and realise that I may have missed out erm... most of it.
Sorry!

:-)

I am determined to communicate with you Lettie :-), and so ... my boys are (5 months old) and (3 years and 2 weeks old).

You see :-) ... I can make sense.

I promise that I will attempt to include all necessary sentences in future posts, and not to miss out any words that are ordinarily considered necessary ... like, for instance ... verbs.

OK -- so ... I am hoping that it's third time lucky here ... :-)

Please tell me that I have succeeded.

SB.

PS wouldn't that be a 4.5 month pregnancy period?
Aaaaahhhhh!

LMAO...ooohhh....I hope you never leave this board, SB. You're writing style makes me smile everytime! I am pretty confident that Lettie will follow your entire post...but you may want to edit the post-script...that one lost me! BTW, was I close on the final translation??

The people here are simply wonderful!! Thank you all!

Kokomo - I like you. Hugs big guy.

... hell yeah!!! ... however, I think that I was getting at the doggie being viewed "either/or" ... rather than "and" (more sensible viewpoint admittedly) ... erm ... if that wasn't clear ... really doesn't matter; let it lie (sleeping dogs an'all) ... really not so important :-) ... Sorry Lettie :-( ... new tricks (old dogs an'all) ... Yes, I know I promised Lettie. ... So sue me :-) ... It's not like you and Kokomo are lawy... ... ... ... doh!!!

I think that we'll find that despite Lettie's reticence to admit it to us, that underneath the pretence, beats a dry creativity that would put us all to shame ...

Lettie, Have you seen 'Dry and Drier' ... cool film, starts out with a couple of blokes in a transit van ... it looked just like an ... erm ... erm ...

Succeeded at what???? Now, I don't care who ya are..that's funny.

So, basically what you are telling me is that the whole time you were speaking those lovely circles around me, you had no idea what we were discussing?? Nothing better than a confident patronizing male....makes you have to decide between ticked and hot....ticked usually wins EVERYONE DON'T PANIC IT'S A JOKE.

Anyway, my daughter turned three on the 16th.....and NEVER underestimate the power of the verb

While I am laughing uncontrollably, I will have to find the freaks thread and see who was the miracle of modern medicine with that short gestational period. Wow, ADD'ers are amazing!! Thanks for tying it all together SB. But Lettie, you confused me almost as much as SB with your last post! LOL!

Nova..I love SB's quotes as well. I just wish I had the patience to understand them. But, any translation is appreciated.

From now on..my motto will be "just smile and nod" , but since ya'll won't be able to see me nodding, I will just type...interesting concept.
