Experience medication worsen you're ability to read?

I must admit that I have kind of a hard time reading for longer periods when I'm not on medication because of difficulties focusing on a single book, without getting distracted every five minutes. However I have experience this lack of ability getting even worse when I take certain ADHD-medications. For instances Attention makes it even harder for me to read for longer periods because I get too hyper-active to do calm stuff like reading. Intuniv kind of worsens my ability to read too, since it makes me too drowsy to read. It really can be somewhat complicated sometimes deciding if ADHD meds makes life easier or worse. How do you guys handle reading in generel (with or without meds).

Perhaps you just don't like reading? There's nothing wrong with that. Readings not for everyone. I'm not a big fan of reading myself unless everything is broken down into short and sweet sections. I only recall ever reading through a book or two in my life and those were short children's books. 300+ page books? Forget it!
