It seems like yesterday. Time for an update.

I never did contact her and I'm glad. Its been 40 years and I just realized
all that time I'd been oblivious to one little fact.
As I said before we never had any classes together or saw each other
outside of school. I remember now that at the start of each term I might
have passed her in the hallway between classes once or twice a week.
Just seeing her in my peripheral vision for a brief moment gave me a bit of
a rush. Every term after the first week I would never see her again as she
purposely changed her route just to avoid me. I guess she thought I was
creepy enough to deny me a 4 second glance out of a 40 hour week. I can
see why. My ADD made it hard for me to communicate and resulted in
social awkwardness. So now I'm pretty positive she wouldn't have
appreciated hearing from me and I saved myself some embarrassment.

I'm amazed that I glossed over that fact all these years.

I know. I can think of a few occasions over the years where
I just didn't 'clue in' to what was going on at the time.
