OMG the Sims all have ADHD

I have just come to the realization that the Sims game is entirely populated by ADHD folks. I have been trying to come up with a plan for my computer work. I realised that when I go to my home office without a clear plan of what I'm going to do, I end up doing whatever caughts my attention first, which is often you tube.

Then it struck me, that's exactly how sims behave! I haven't played that game in a decade, but I remember that without you giving them clear instructions of what to do, they would end up doing something they find enjoyable at the moment. They would disregard future consequences, and just do what makes them feel good. They would sometimes do the fun activity so much, they would almost pee themselves. Sounds familiar?

So we are basically sims, without an alter ego to guide us.
