What to write for the summary on my linkedin profile.
it has to be original and "literary", but not over the top.

Re: What are you thinking about now?

Just listed 8 magic: the gathering cards up on ebay (as individual auctions)...in total I'm asking for $239 for them...they're the lowest prices currently on ebay, and I consider offers.
They'll sell...or at least most of them. I've only had a couple of items in the past 10+ years not sell for me on ebay.

It is kinda sad...as the cards are part of a nice commander deck...the deck can still run, but these cards take a ton of strength out of it.
But it's okay, cause I have a second commander deck that I refuse to take apart that's a stronger deck.
Plus I still have my main modern deck that I wont part out either. It's a dang fun deck (mono blue tron).

And...I've not yet dipped into my lands I'm in love with. I'm sitting on about $1,000 worth of fetch lands (full playsets from the Khans Of Tarkir set (20 cards) as well as a full playset of all the shocklands (40 cards).
These lands are my babies though...they're cards I'll always need, and I may never get around to completing playsets of all of them again like I have now.
Sure it's been several years since I've played the game...but this game is one of those things that I love to sink myself into every few years...it becomes my life...and when that happens again, I'd hate myself for selling off these lands.

...
Anyhow, I'm selling off some cards cause I got a bunch of bills coming up. I need new tags for my car (due in 3 days! haha)...and I gotta come up with 6 months of insurance for my car next month (I could pay monthly...but I'm going to do what I can to just pay 6 months of it and be done for another half year).

My parents have always taken care of these things for me.
My dad's offered to help out...but I'm determined not to ask for help from him often. I don't want to have to rely on him like I always have in my past...I also want him to be able to enjoy himself as best he can, while he can, with his money. He's worked hard through his entire life...now he's on disability after suffering 2 major heart attacks and going through multiple surgeries including a quadruple bypass.
I hate the thought of being a financial burden on him.

.......

Just thinking (typing? lol) out loud.

Have sold 4 of them so far for about $115...it's enough to pay for my new registration tags for my car...as well as it let me be safe to do a bit more mid-month grocery shopping.

Hoping I can get the other 4 sold...though I'm no longer in a rush, so I can let them sit on ebay for awhile. As long as they can sell by the first week or 2 of next month so it can help go towards 6 more months of car insurance.

I gotta call my dad and see what he wants to do. The car's still in his name, and he has the title...it is fully paid off...and he's only got liability on it for now and the insurance is under his name...Not sure if he's going to want to turn the car over to me and have me put insurance under my name...or if he's willing to do it under his name again.
It's like twice as much money if I need to get insurance under my name.

Re: What are you thinking about now?

I've signed or am signing up for a bunch of meetup groups. I've got 2 group meetings this week.

Tonight was the first one. It was a skiing/snowboarding group. So far, about 30 people showed up, pretty big group. Out of that group, I think there's 1 person I can ski with lol as I'm only a beginner/intermediate level. Unfortunately, she skis only on the weekends and I'm leaning toward a midweek season pass. But the midweek pass allows weekend skiing in the spring too so maybe can ski with her then. There were others I could carpool with on the weekdays but I'll have to ride with them and then ski alone (or go with my sister who's way too good for me too).

Tommorrow night is the women's travel group.

Re: What are you thinking about now?

You know, on some level, I suspect ADHD carries minor benefits. For the simple reason that: when something affects your life in so many different ways, it'll probably end up changing a handful of events for the better, even if the underlying balance is negative.

Re: What are you thinking about now?

Last night was a performance at the theatre, The Addams Family. The hearse from the show was there in front parked on the street, what a sight! Main was blocked for the patrons as it was still 68 degrees and the dressed up were walking.

I had to stop for a couple, he was in a red to black shantung suit with his mustache waxed into a David Niven curl and she was in a tight black sheath with spiderweb stockings and heels jacking her up in back.

As they passed by they looked SO happy followed by a couple young cowboys all in black formal cut-aways with Top Hats.

Re: What are you thinking about now?

I wish all mental health professionals were like my pill lady and the lady who comes and helps me with my apartment.
Non-judgmental, super easy to talk to, very understanding and empathetic, and aren't overly pushy or demanding.

I feel so much judgment, disappointment and frustration from so many professionals I deal with...it's damn nice to have at least a couple that I don't get that from.

Judgemental, I know! Perfection is good to strive for, but not sure I'm not sure any real human is actually perfect.
