Seriously, my respectful suggestion would be for you to consider reading

"Learned Optimism," by Martin Seligman, Ph. D.

He coined the term "learned helplessness," and is considered to be the

"father" of the Positive Psychology movement.

Tonight's "IMPORTANT STUFF" TO KNOW ...

It all comes down to expectations and belief systems.

If you believe that you are somehow "damaged and different," you'll

inevitably create the proverbial "self-fulfilling prophecy."

As my late, wonderful grandmother would say...

"Remember, nothing's ever as good, or as bad as they (parents) say it is."

That's why I never bought into their (parent's) "The sky is falling" mantra.
