Re: FACES to go with NAMES 2

Mindcrime MAY still make it to the big screen. Tate sold the story to some writers, and pocketed the money, which was PART of what caused the dissolution between him and the other guys. Michael Kaman passed away several years ago . His orchestration would have been incredible on this new album.

Nice pics! I met Peter Frampton, Neal Schon and Jon Waite in P.A.. My friend won some kind of contest. Of course no Steve Perry
See Anastasia, at least YOU gave it a listen
I have other friends who are long time die hard Ryche fans who refuse to listen to the album because it's not Tate. The rest of the album is mindblowing.

Btw, I love John Waite. Remember The Babys?

The Baby's! yes, with Jonathan Cain, another Journey member. "Isn't it time", I played the hell out of it.

Re: FACES to go with NAMES 2

I refuse to listen to that band they call "Journey" now. So I'm guilty as well. But I'm a vintage Journey fan. Gregg Rolie, Ansley Dunbar and early Steve Perry, is The Journey I love.

Re: FACES to go with NAMES 2

I saw Bad English open for Whitesnake back in 90, and they played a few old Babys songs, and Waite even did Missing You. I was listening to a mixed CD I made with a few Babys songs, and I NEVER knew that John Waite says "THAT" at the end of Midnight Rendezvous. Haha... you know what I'm talking about..

On the Journey thing... Amen sister... I'm with you on that... If it's not Perry, I don't want to hear it. But I'm more of a fan of Escape. That was the soundtrack of my 5th grade, along with Foreigner 4.

Re: FACES to go with NAMES 2

Yes, I think I remember what he said at the end. I remember the giggles from me and my gf's.

Love old Whitesnake, cant deny Escape, and Foreigner 4 is perfect.

I'm afraid this should be on another thread, too much dialogue for a "picture" thread. I'm unsure, but playing it safe.

There's a blast from the past. In 1971 Kansas got socked with a hundred-year blizzard.

I was snowed in at home for 3 days, until my dad waded through waist deep snow 4 blocks

to get his biggest tractor and break a trail around town with it for the snow plow to follow.

Yeah, the snow was so deep the snow plow couldn't even get around.

Then he took me to work on the tractor - at the restaurant attached to the motel ...

... where The Babys were stranded along with a bunch of other people.

I didn't actually get to meet them.
