You can't told fitted sheets. It's physically impossible. You are meant to attempt folding them at least 5 times and then resign yourself to stuffing the triangular heap into a cupboard.

Having said that I love fitted sheets. I'd rather deal with the triangular heap in my cupboard than one on my bed. Non fitted sheets are impossible to put on a mattress.

I can put a flat sheet on a mattress, but it will not stay there. Will. Not. Stay.

It is possible to fold a fitted sheet, especially if it's only the corners that have
elastic. I don't bother with the ones that have elastic all the way around. Ugh.

Due to irresponsible behavior, I am too drunk to drive home...so I am still working to let my liver work it off.

Jeez Louise, this is not good.

Financials under ethanol. Naughty.

Ordering for the company under the influence of whisky.

Lulz.

My bosses are also a little bit lit, so it is okay.

Screwed the pooch on this one, for sure.

Cheers,
Ian

I think my phone is finally on its last legs. It fell on the floor by accident this morning and its now much harder to press some of the buttons. Need to look into getting a new phone soon i think.

My first mistake was going to bed early last night...actually thinking I could get more than 2 or 3 hours of sleep.

When i get home i look on tesco site see if they have a cheap phone with internet so i can keep same number. And same deal.

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part IV

It has been four months since my coworker who is also my neighbour holds a grudge on me due to a misunderstanding. Today just one hour after our working hours were over she asked who were still in the office because she needed a help, but I decided to just ignore it because I was neither at home nor office. Then after she finally got help from other coworkers (who just happened to take extra work hours), she revealed that the help she needed was to get rid of a snake in her house. As her neighbour, I am a bit regretful because had I also taken extra work hours (which usually I do but didn't today because a blackout yesterday just 15 minutes after I started my extra work hour ruined my mood for taking extra wok hour), I can have a chance to be on good term with her again by getting rid of the snake because I'm not afraid of snakes.

Thanks Lun, those are both good suggestions. I try not to change sheets for that reason, but every few months I just want a change and the folding kicks in.

I always find myself thinking I remember how to do it and start manhandling this gigantic GD puckered elasticized sheet thingy. Fold in half while tucking the GD puckered corners into each other....Then I confront the memory issues for things that I only do once every few months and find myself w/ outstretched arms, my hands stuck in ******* puckered thingies and can't remember what comes next...SOB! I try to fold anyway a couple of times and NO GO. I wander off to the pooter to find the instructions on youtube without really putting down the GD puckered sheet, struggle w/ the keyboard, give up and put down the sheet....find the you tube thing....fight w/ the GD puckered elastic sheet AGAIN and finally fold it up and and the other bedding and put it away while being fit to be tied. Then yesterday I drained off the remaining irritation w/ a forum post.

*points at Lun* HELLSPAWN!!

...but I'm feeling much better now. ;-) -LN

P.S. Did you guys know that the forum's editor "bleeps" f r i g g i n ?

P.P.S. Thx for the help/suggestions. I have already ordered an oversized flat sheet (queen bed. king sheet) to see if I can replace the fitted one. I'm hoping hospital corners on all 4 ends will hold it. (If not, maybe just 2 ends w/ longer tucks.) I'll report back either way.

Hi Monox, Keep in mind that this is coming from a guy that goes to great lengths to fold a bedsheet that most people don't worry about folding or not folding.

If you truly wish to reconcile with this person, what you recounted in your post would be a great start to the conversation IMO. Sincere, open, and honest. -LN
